Frequently Asked Questions
Many people assume that pelvic floor rehab is only appropriate for women who have had children. However, MANY women (and men!) of all ages will experience pelvic floor issues at some point in their lives, with or without birthing children. If you fall into any of these categories, pelvic floor services might be right for you!!
In attempt to prevent restrictions brought on by insurance companies, we do not accept insurance at this time. This allows us to focus purely on what is going to get YOU better, instead of focusing on what your insurance will or will not allow.
NOTE: Due to Medicaid restrictions, if you are a Medicaid beneficiary we are unable to accept you as a client at this time - even if interested in paying out of pocket!
At Lynne DiPirro Performance PLLC, we offer holistic pelvic health coaching. This is a completely virtual service that gives you flexibility in your care, so that you do not need to attend weekly, in-person sessions. You will receive personalized exercise programming and education to promote pelvic floor and whole body wellness from the comfort of your home!
At your first visit, your provider will actively listen to all of your concerns and go through a thorough history intake. She will then take you through a series of movements tests, so it is helpful to wear comfortable clothing! If indicated, your provider will perform an internal pelvic exam (vaginally or rectally). This allows your provider the ability to assess the pelvic floor muscles for weakness, tightness, etc. Following this, you and your provider will decide on the best route to addressing your concerns!
We understand that this is a very sensitive area and people will have varying levels of comfort with an internal exam. Therefore, the exam is not at all required. However, it allows your provider to get a more exact understanding of the pelvic floor muscles and is VERY helpful for guiding your care. If you are nervous or uncomfortable with possibility of having an internal exam, please speak with your provider to discuss other options during your session!
Yes! Men have pelvic floor muscles very similar to women. We often see men for testicular pain, penile pain, erectile dysfunction and bladder leakage.

Small Group Sessions
Small group sessions are guided classes where you’ll learn, move, and improve your pelvic health in a supportive group setting. You’ll be alongside other women with similar experiences, creating connection while building strength and confidence.
Groups are kept small, with 4–5 people max, to create an intimate, supportive environment where you can learn, move, and feel comfortable alongside others on a similar journey.
Yes, depending on your symptoms. Small group sessions are best for general pelvic health, strength, and education, especially if you’re looking to learn alongside others with similar experiences. If you need more individualized care, 1-on-1 physical therapy may be a better starting point.
No prior experience is needed. Sessions are designed to meet you where you’re at, with guidance and modifications so you feel comfortable, supported, and confident moving at your own pace.
Each session includes guided movement, education, and practical exercises focused on strength, posture, breathing, and overall pelvic health so you can apply what you learn in your daily life.
The Femme Experience
It’s meant to feel fun, relaxed, and a little bit “let loose” while still being informative. You’ll learn about your body and pelvic health in a way that feels natural, open, and easy, not clinical or intimidating.

1-on-1 Physical Therapy
Hybrid physical therapy combines in-person sessions with ongoing online coaching. You’ll receive hands-on care when needed, along with personalized programming and guidance between sessions, so your progress continues beyond the clinic.
It depends on your symptoms and goals. The 1-on-1 model is designed to give you the right amount of hands-on care while supporting you remotely in between.
Yes. Traditional physical therapy often relies on scheduled visits alone and may involve seeing different providers. With this approach, you’ll work one-on-one with the same provider from start to finish, with a fully personalized plan, ongoing coaching, and guidance between sessions—so you’re never left figuring things out on your own.
