Alright, my IBS/IBD friends, this one is going to be EXTREMELY important for you...

Why should you make a conscious effort to sit when you eat? Let's dig into the benefits for your gut health and overall well-being!

Mindful Digestion: When you sit and savor your meals without distractions, you give your body the signal to shift into a relaxed state, activating the rest-and-digest response.

Optimal Chewing: Sitting while eating encourages mindful chewing. Taking the time to thoroughly chew your food promotes better digestion and nutrient absorption.

Improved Digestive Fire: Digestion starts in the mouth with saliva production and the release of enzymes.

Enhanced Gut-Brain Connection: The gut-brain axis is a crucial link between our gut health and mental well-being. Sitting down to enjoy your meal mindfully can reduce stress and promote a positive mindset.

Conscious Portion Control: When you sit down to eat, you're more likely to be aware of your portion sizes and satiety cues.
